Turn “make it clearer” into a marked question
A comment like make it clearer can mean enlarge the prop, simplify the background or explain the action in another frame. Before repainting, turn the comment into a small question that both contributor and reviewer can see. The aim is to understand the requested change well enough to choose a useful revision.
Mark a place and an intended reading
In a fictional market illustration, circle the small parcel at the counter and write what the audience should understand: this is the object being exchanged. Keep a separate note for the busy background rather than treating every issue as one clarity problem. Krita supports organising layers into named groups; use a distinct markup group so arrows and comments do not become part of the painted scene. Make the note readable at the size used for review.
Offer a choice that can be compared
Prepare two restrained options, such as moving the parcel away from a competing shape or simplifying that neighbouring shape. Leave unrelated details alone. Ask the reviewer which option better explains the exchange and what remains unclear. A suggestion is not automatically an instruction to redraw everything nearby. Record a separate question when feedback introduces a new aim, such as changing the scene’s mood, so the original object-reading problem does not disappear inside a larger redesign.
Close the note with a visible result
After a decision, retain the chosen crop with a short resolution note and identify the working file that contains it. Hide markup before preparing the artwork export, then inspect the actual exported image for a forgotten arrow or comment. If nobody has selected an option, leave the note open instead of marking the picture approved. The discussion should leave the next contributor knowing which change was accepted and which questions still need an answer.
